What is The H.O.P.E. Classroom?

The H.O.P.E. Classroom is a learning platform that enables teachers and students to learn and discuss together what it means to give hope, to practice vulnerability, and to be a Sweetheart and/or Hero. It contains a number of standalone video courses that guide viewers through lessons on these topics and more, each with teacher's guides, handouts, and posters. The H.O.P.E. Classroom is a fantastic addition and supplement to your school's or district's efforts to help students and educators grow socially and emotionally.

What courses are currently available?

Please visit our Features page to view a full list of all courses available on The H.O.P.E. Classroom, as well as information on the lessons within each. New courses and content are added regularly, and all subscribers will have access to new content as it becomes available. We'll announce new content releases via email, so stay tuned!

Can my students use The H.O.P.E. Classroom while learning remotely?

Absolutely. The H.O.P.E. Classroom was designed to work in both in-person and remote contexts. Both students and teachers are able to access course lessons through a web browser, working synchronously or at their own pace, before discussing together what they've learned.

If your organization uses Flipgrid, much of our course content is available on that platform. Please send a message to [email protected] with "Flipgrid" in the subject line for more information.

Are my students required to enter an email address or any personally identifiable information before accessing course lessons and content?

No. The first time students open the unique URL for their classroom, they'll simply need to enter their teacher's email address to view lessons. A cookie will be placed on their browser, so they won't have to enter that email address on subsequent visits before viewing lessons. Note that this cookie is not unique to the student or personally identifiable, nor is it used for analytics or tracking.

How do I purchase The H.O.P.E. Classroom?

Access to The H.O.P.E. Classroom is offered as a one-year subscription service. Pricing is based on the size of your school or organization. You can learn more by visiting our Pricing page.

My school just purchased The H.O.P.E. Classroom. What's the next step?

After you (or your school's administrator) complete the checkout process, you'll be directed to an account setup page. Once your administrator account is setup, you'll be able to invite any and all of your school's teachers to create their own accounts by entering their email addresses. Those teachers will then be sent a Welcome email, and they'll be able to create their own accounts.

Your school's teachers will then be able to organize their classes on the platform, creating individual "classrooms" for each group of students with whom they'd like to share a course (ex. "9th Grade Homeroom" or "6th Period Biology Class"). Teacher's will be given a unique URL (also available as a QR code) that they can give to students. Once students open that URL, they'll simply need to enter their teacher's email address before access to the course's content is granted.

My school purchased a one-year subscription. What happens after that year passes?

After your school's one-year subscription term passes, it can either be renewed for another year, or cancelled. If the subscription is cancelled, your school's access to The H.O.P.E. Classroom's course content will end. Whether your school chooses to renew or cancel your subscription, we'll email you a reminder a few weeks before the end of the subscription term.
